Bernie
spent ten years at IBM Corporation (U.S.) in marketing
and sales of small to medium computer systems and was
one of the top sales people and later a top sales manager
for the company. In addition, he spent two years in sales
training and marketing planning. |

his last position with IBM, Bernie managed a pioneering
facility in direct marketing and telemarketing. Because
of Bernie's prior sales background he has empathy and
understanding for the field sales organization.
After IBM, Bernie's entrepreneurial spirit fostered two
different telemarketing companies. He is a frequent speaker
at direct marketing and telemarketing meetings and has
written numerous articles on both subjects. He has also
served as Vice Chairman and Programming Chairman of the
Business-to-Business Council of the Direct Marketing Association
(DMA).

and The Lead Generation Handbook. He also co-authored
with Tracy Emerick, Business-to-Business Direct Marketing
and publishes a bi-monthly newsletter, The Business Marketing
